about this coffee

If you ask Miguel and Guillermo about their favorite from their coffee farms, before you can even finish the question, they just can’t help but exclaim, “Pacamara!”.

At this point, you know the Menendez brothers well. Miguel and Guillermo Menendez, along with their father Don Miguel are the producers of the family’s majestic farms in El Salvador. They consistently produce immaculate coffees, many of which we have been able to serve, and taste, and love. The brothers themselves have made visits to Nashville, educating us on everything from coffee growing to their love of Tennessee whiskey, ushering us into new ways of appreciating not only their coffees, but also life itself.

This coffee, the Pacamara Reserve from their Las Delicias farm, is the best coffee off that farm that we’ve ever tasted. Loud with tropical fruit -- mango explodes on your tongue -- the wild. Yet somehow delicate brightness of the coffee announces itself right from the start. The Pacamara Reserve then plunges to a delightful depth, swirling with almond and vanilla-like sweetness, all sharing a soothing creamy body. This coffee is the best of the best -- and we are so very pumped to serve it. We just hope we don’t drink it all.
